June

Ah summer... when I was growing up, summer was always the season I looked forward to the most. Lazy Days, Sleeping In, Playing Outside, and best of all, No School! Now as an adult I think that summer is not my Least favorite season, but it certainly has lost it's number one spot. I'm SURE that part of it is because of this fact. There. Are. No. More. Lazy. Days. Let's talk about June for example, here's the things that are happening for the month.

th-- Service Project with the Young Women
th-- Teaching in Young Women
th-- dance prep night
-- Pre-Camp Hike... AND... My Mom's Birthday!
th-- Family Birthday Party for my parents and I
th-- My Birthday
th-- Leave For Camp
th-- Camp
th-- Camp.... AND.... My Dad's Birthday!
th-- Come home from Camp
th-- Asha's Baby Shower AND My Aunts Anniversary Party in Pittsburgh
th-- Father's Day
rd-- Camp Awards Night
th-- Adult Ward Party
th-- One Year Anniversary
th-- Missionary Zone Conference and Etiquette Dinner

Now honestly and truely, I enjoy and I am excited about all of the things on the above list. I just am thinking.... a mini vacation would be nice. Just 2 days. Please? 2 days in a row where I don't have to clean the apartment, or make dinner, or do anything. Is that too much to ask?

  1. Ugh...I hear ya! I used to LOVE summer as a kid...but now, summer has lost its luster. My June schedule looks just like yours! I would love to have just a mini vacation. Just a day or so to relax, sleep in, go to places I would like to go, etc.
